Sidenav feature reference
This guide follows the app sidenav order and gives AI Assist a concise explanation of what each module does.
Daily Work
- Point of Sale: Sell items, process returns, assign customers, use Image Sell and Favorites, access receipts, rentals, service, tabs, invoices, and tenders.
- Dashboard: Review KPIs, sales glance, leaderboard, goals, trends, hourly insights, profit, margin, and sales totals.
- Operations: Central operations area for daily management workflows.
- Remote Tasks: Mobile-friendly task launcher for item tasks, physical inventory, build inventory, receive PO, and create PO.
- Timeclock: Associate clock-in and clock-out station using PIN entry.
Inventory and Catalog
- Inventory: Product search, active/discontinued totals, quantity on hand, cost value, retail value, aging, pricing, supplier, brand, size, and attribute data.
- Customers: Customer search, contact records, active/inactive counts, visit count, purchase total, last visit, add date, and customer group.
- Loyalty Programs: Pre-Pay programs for dive cards, fill cards, and other buy-ahead uses; Group Discounts; Gift Cards with online balance lookup through the built-in shopping portal; and Accumulation Rewards. Group Discounts uses a product group and customer group discount grid so store-defined groups receive the right pricing, removing manual discounting, errors, and unapproved buddy pricing.
- Promotions: Current, future, and historical promotions with standard discounts and item lists.
- PO's: Purchase order workflow grouped by unsent, sent, and historical PO lists.
- Suppliers: Supplier list with contact fields and optional item counts.
- Departments: Department hierarchy, tax flags, item counts, and sorting.
- Labels & Tags: Tag requests, tag layouts, Zebra printer selection, promotion prices, and product label queues.
Dive Workflows
- Scuba: Calendar and roster management with month, 7-day, and 3-day views, manifests, trips, classes, times, and seat counts.
- Rentals: Rental category setup, rental items, size/attribute/serial data, status, lifetime rentals, rentals since service, and entry dates.
- Service: Customer and rental service work orders, open and historical views, balances, gear, service lines, parts, notes, and status details.
Reports and Context
- Demographics: ZIP distance, radius demographics, map sizing, and nearby ZIP summaries.
- Weather: Weather history with visits, net sales, high/low, precipitation, wind, and marine conditions.
- Reports: Sales Summary, Closeout, Transaction Journal, Department Sales, Product Sales, Monthly Sales, and other report launchers.
Setup and Security
- Setup: Theme setup with light and dark modes, background modes, and 60 prebuilt custom focus colors; station setup, email, lists, timeclock manager, merchant setup, integrations, and other configuration areas.
- Security: Permission groups, group members, permission keys, view-only flags, confirm rank, record access, lockout, hide, confirm identity, and rank levels.
- AI Assist: In-app assistant drawer that can answer questions about Diverse Retail and the current page.
